White "smoke" spewing from my Kia.

White smoke spews from the back end of my Kia. It had very little power, and stalled on me when I was driving. This has not happened to me previously, however the car has had a pretty rough idle this past week.

Blown head gasket for sure, check your radiator to see how much coolant you're missing to be completely sure. the oil may or may not be milky but that would be a dead giveaway. having the same problems.. i guess theres a reason why this car was 300 dollars.
also, after you replace the head gasket pressure test the cooling system to make sure your radiator, heater core, and water pump are still good. a blown head gasket can overpressurize the cooling system and blow out these components.
I guess this is a pretty common problem for these cars

Check your oil, you may have a blown head gasket. Check the oil too see if it has antifreeze in it

Hey my retarded brother over filled my car by 3lt yes I said 3lt anyways I drained out all oil filled it back to prop lev and it is now spewing white smoke out tAilpipe I am pretty sure there

White smoke out the tail pipe is a sign of water! Black smoke is excess carbon, dark grey is oil.

Possible that you have a leaking head gasket that is getting water into the cylinders?

Own a 2001 Kia Sportage which spews gasoline out when refueling. also tends to go dead when driving down highway.

-Check breath line (vapor line), it might be bend. Tha's why it spill gas when refill.
Q: What is breath line and where is it...?
A: It's a small tube line above the filler line that along with the filler libe to the tank.

-You mean it will die when you try to press more gas...?
-If so. Possible need new spark plug.
-Check and test TPS (trottle position sensor) Must be within specification
Check mass air flow sensor & Clean. Careful do not damege.

2001 Kia Sportage goes dead while driving plus gas spews out when refueling

Need a little more info: Is it a V-6? Does it just die at random times? Kia has had problems with crank shaft position sensors. The vehicle will just die and may restart immediately or take several minutes till it will restart.

Car spews a lot of white smoke i assume its steam from coolant or antifreeze from a cracked head gasket, was told it needed spark wires and plugs and brakes,

no you cannot judge on that before checking what the problem is
have you checked what how the is oil level in because when the smoke is white that means it is oil
if it is black that is gaz .accordingly you have an oil leak from valves where the upstroke forces oil into combustion chamber where it is burned and causes white smoking

Why does my 1975 Jeep Cj spew white smoke from it's exhaust?

white smoke is probably steam, which could mean a blown head gasket, cracked head or other expensive problems :( I would watch the coolant level closely, it could also just be condensation collecting in the muffler.

Amanti. Hard start, rough idle white smoke and gas spewing from tail pipe. Smooths out a little when disconnecting MAF connector. Is now at independent repair shop. Replaced MAF, no change. Replaced ECU....

Remove plugs and check their condition. Look for coils or wires leaking. Check compression and and injector operation. Do a block test to check for the presence of HC in the cooling system this would be indicative of a blown head gasket.

White smoke from an f250 exhast

Is your coolant level dropping w/ no apparent leaks? White smoke from the exhaust indicates a bad head gasket, and loss of coolant would confirm this.
