Repair front directionals, hazards and high and low beams 2000 ford windstar

You probably have lost your ground. Check ground straps going from firewall to engine block. Then follow through and verify at the lights and look for exposed or corroded wires.

Problem: A co-worker has a 1999 Audi A6 Quattro. Her directionals stopped working and she's had to resort to manually moving the switch arm (the hazards work fine, though). Someone on the internet...

i think her problem is the hazard light switch this is how they go when they go wrong the indicators stop working ,their is no magic relay or seting dash lights --- not on such an old car ,the hazards work but no indicators ,they all use the same flasher unit but its all wired through teh hazard light switch ,anyway shes a female and they never use indicators anyway ,only hazards for triple parking outside the hairdresser

Left/Right Directionals don't work.

If they light, but don't blink, it's the relay. Check fuse box for round flasher relay. Hit your hazard flasher to make sure you pull out the right one. If you pull the relay and the hazards stop working, they you pulled the wrong one.

2000 ford windstar, directionals both not working, hazards work f

turn signal flasher module or turn signal switch. I usuall try to wiggle teh column switch or move it slowly up and down, back and forth to help determine if it has a bad contact. if i cant get a failure (or turn signal) that way I begin the testing at the base of the column. the flasher module is a common failure on those and isnt unreasonably priced. if i had no diagnostic procedure i would try that first. oh yea, try turning the hazards on and off rapidly several times. the signal goes through the four way switch.

I have a 2005 Nissan Xterra SE. 95,000 miles. I have hazards but my directionals have stopped working. I believe its a fuse but I cant locate which fuse to check?

if your fuse box doesn't tell you which fuse is which, just pull them one at a time and replace any that are blown. if not a fuse, replace bulbs
