Question about 2001 Dodge Stratus

1 Answer

2001 Dodge Stratus SE

The car seems to grumble and **** at low rpm (below 2000) and gets worse the longer it is on. After sitting for long periods (several hours or overnight) it seems to start out ok, but the symptoms begin after a minute or two. I don't have a lot of cash to go to a dealer but I have a mechanic buddy that can do the repairs if we know the exact part to fix

I have no idea what to tell you, do you have any idea how hard it is to try and figure out a noise like this from a computer keyboard?

Seems like we need a tune up . Change the plugs wires, air filter fuel filter. Is the check engine light on. If so have the codes pulled on the car.

Major disassembly of the engine is needed. Errors in the reassembly can cause major engine problems.

Best left to a repair shop that has experience in this job.
