SOURCE: changing spark plugs in 2002 Avalanche 5.3 liter engine

all you need is one socket that fits on the plugs. its easy as long as you can get your socket to all the plugs.you may need some extensions and swivels.

SOURCE: changing spark plugs

First remove the big plastic cover that covers the motor by taking off the oil fill spout. Then the plastic cover should just lift right off..No you should be able to see all of the front ones and the rear ones are a little tricky..You'll need a 3 to 6in. extension with a swivel next to the 5/8 deep well socket.Taking them out is usually the easy part to which reinstalling is a little more trickier.Make sure the plug socket you are using has the rubber piece inside of it because you don't want to break the plugs..And when putting rear ones in to use an old plug wire end or just the socket and three inch extension to start the threads because you dont want to cross thread them. After you have atleast threaded them in as far as you can get them and they went atleast 3 to 4 revolutions tighten them up and finish the rest in process you be great..Good luck to you and am always here to help you and anymore questions will be glad to help......

Changing rear spark plugs on an 05 Bonnevile V6

No special tools, however the hard part will be getting the plug wires off without pulling the inner contact apart. Rotate the boots on the plugs before trying to remove the wires.

How do I change the spark plugs on a 2000 Beetle.

No special tools required. Spark plugs or glow plugs mount down into the engine from the top. Last resort - follow the wires. Be careful when changong the plugs such that you don't break any of the wires. The wires are somewhat expensive, and break easily.
