My headlights/fog lights dont work as well. I have replaced the bulbs, headlight switch as well. I am out of options. The only way for my lights to come on is if I HOLD in the brights on the blinker switch. My tail lights work along w/ my blinkers so I dont see it being electrical from the wiring. Any other suggestions?

there is no fuse for the headlights.
turn signals and marker lights all work

How strange. Went to turn on the headlights on the 04 Stratus today and they didn't come on. No high or low beam. Everything else on the car works. Checked all the fuses under the hood by swapping them out, same with relays. Even checked the fuses under the dashboard although they are independent left/right high/low. Obviously there is a common OPEN for the headlights. The turn signal, dimmer, high beam flasher switch appears to function in all other positions and modes and doesn't seem suspect; however, I have no way to check it. Just strange! Any one else?

I have the same problem with my 1994 Dodge Ram Truck. I replaced the dimmer switch, and the bulbs and now don't have wipers, brake lights or head lights. I checked all fuses and relays but still can't get them to work. I'm clueless.

I had the same problem. The solution to this is something called the turn signal/highbeam switch, located in your steering column. This switch has an actuator of some sort that goes bad after a while. It doesn't allow the actuator to turn back into regular headlight mode, instead disabling it. I went to my local junkyard and replaced it. Everything works now. Here is a link to anyone looking to solve their problem -

I have yet to purchase the switch. I plan on having it fixed within 2 weeks. I will post back when I replaced the item and confirm if it was fixed.

High beam headlights don't work, changed the bulbs, and checked the fuses, help

This is going to be a problem with your light switch or dimmer switch. Replace the light switch and see if that resolves the issue.

No power to low beam headlights

If both lights do not work it is unlikely to be a fuse or even the bulbs, although that cannot be completely discounted. The more probable cause would be the headlight relay which has gone faulty or even the headlight switch which is not selecting the low beams. Fuses are easiest to check, and there is probably one for each light. Bulbs are a bit trickier and really need a continuity tester to check, or try other bulbs. (Remember not to touch the glass part of the bulb). The relay can only be checked by replacement and the switch can be checked by seeing if there is power at the low beam terminals when the switch is selected that way.

Honda 2005 CRV - The left headlight is OK. The turn signal works both sides till I turn on the headlights. Then the right one does not work. that is a Honda safety feature. Non working turn signal on full...

Bypass head light switch and see what you get. Three items can cause your problem . The head light switch, flasher relay , shorts in circuit. I would go with switch.

Headlights do not work.Have 2002 Jeep Wrangler, replaced multi switch on colum, checked fuses and headlight bulbs, still do not work.

if you checked the fuses for the headlights, pull back on turnsignal handle to see if you have high beam over ride,
if you do i would think it was the headlight switch

The same bulb in a lot of applications controls both the high and low beam. Generally the low beam portion will burn out and for a short time you will be able to use the high beam only. I can't be certain which headlight switch that you checked, but the most common solution is to replace the headlight bulb. The bulb is on the inside of the headlight lense and is accessible by opening the hood and peeling back the rubber cover that covers up all of the headlamp apparatus. Depending on the model of vehicle they are mounted in there differently. Make sure and change both at the same time. It is generally cheaper to purchase new headlight bulbs as a (2) pack and it never fails if you change one the other will burn out in a week. Hope this helps
