Question about 1996 Dodge Intrepid
Headlight switch.Checked bulbs
I had the same problem. The solution to this is something called the turn signal/highbeam switch, located in your steering column. This switch has an actuator of some sort that goes bad after a while. It doesn't allow the actuator to turn back into regular headlight mode, instead disabling it. I went to my local junkyard and replaced it. Everything works now. I have yet to purchase the switch. I plan on having it fixed within 2 weeks. I will post back when I replaced the item and confirm if it was fixed.
