2005 mini cooper misfire cylinder 1

Check the spark plug first, if it is fouled, wet, carbon or fuel deposited all up, Don't just change it, Do a complete tune up and change them all, also add Seafoam to the tank to clean the entire fuel system, that should take care of any injector problems that might be causing your problem,,, and use a high grade fuel from now on

Fuel smell in camaro

50 miles reduction in the conditions mentioned means that your economy is about right
there is a small hose back from the tank to under the cap to release air trapped when filling
koses can get loose , crack or break
tank sender units gaskets can break down
look around the tank area for the leak /smell
a damp patch in the dust is a good give away

Engine knocking on and off

inspect the harmonic balancer.
When the crank turns there is a rubber buffer between the pully and crank portions of the balancer that could have let go causing an engine knock like noise.
