Question about 2005 Dodge Durango
My key will not turn, the wheel will turn so its not locked, but the key will not. I tried removing the battery hoping that it will reset but nothing....I even rotated the steerting wheel hoping to unlock the ignition but all i did was lock the steering wheel....now the steering wheel and key will not move.....HELP
Try tapping the lock cylinder with a small hammer...some times this will jar the tumblers and allow it to turn...if this works the lock cylinder is going bad and will need replaced

SOURCE: my key will not turn,
your key is probably worn down and needs replaced, but you can try spraying a penetrating oil (WD40 or PB Blaster) into the lock cylinder this sometimes works
