Question about 2000 Daewoo Leganza
I have a 2000 Daewoo Laganza and it just stoped running. I have spark and it seems to be getting gas. I can hear the elect fuel pump running when I turn the key on. I don't know where to start checking the other things that could be the cause. Any help or experience with this problem would be greatly appreaciated. Thank You
How is the timing belt, these are famous for premature failure of the timing belt, they should be changed at 60,000

SOURCE: 2000 Daewoo Laganza won't start
I had this issue just the other day, actually. The issue was the starter, although it decided to work a few days after sitting, I replaced the starter anyway.
See if you can jump your car. If you can't, then the battery died and that needs to be replaced first. Once the battery is replaced, I would definitely have an auto part store check your alternator to make sure it's working (another good way to check that is to have the car started..then remove the positive from your battery).
A friend of mine replaced my starter. He said the weather was causing a part within the starter to swell up. It cost me around $110 shipped for the starter on Ebay. Hope this helps!
