Chevy venture radiator cap won't come off

Well that can be true but you can't be sure without running some tests.
Did you get the cap off ? Is the radiator full of coolant ?
Was the radiator fan running when it was showing hot on the gauge ?

If this is a real factory alarm, you can adjust the alarm settings by following the instructions in the owners manual. To get an owners manual, go to the Chevrolet Owners website and sign up (it's free). You'll need your VIN. http://www.gm.com/gmownercenter/chevrolet/

No matter what setting you have the air or heat on, it still comes out all the settings(vents, defrost and floor vents) all blow at same time in my 2003 chevy impala

sounds like you have a bad blend door motor that is stuck in the middle allowing for all vents to blow air... locate the motor under the dash and remove it. manually move the lever and see if it changes the flow.. check for power at that motor to make sure your getting the signal from the dash then you'll have found your problem....

I have an 03 venture 3.4 the problem im having is heating

the air flow does not have any thing to do with the thermostat
make sure you had the right cabin air filter and put in the right dirrection
the air flow is control by three devices calls mode door actuators, if this goes bad then you may not have enough air flow to a certain area
