Question about 1993 Volkswagen Passat
Hi. With the door open, find and press in the little push-switch which should get squeezed in when the door is closed. When you push that all the way in, the light should go out. If it doesn't then the switch may be faulty - or you may see that the switch has come loose and has disappeared back into its mounting hole - requiring the screw to be tightened or replaced.
Hope this helps you a bit. If it does, a "Fixya" rating would be much appreciated. If it doesn't help you, I'd be grateful if you didn't bother with a rating right now. Just come back and tell me what
you found. Cheers, D
