You can leave the window open then lock the doors with the remote.Wait for a few minutes then reach in and unlock the door with knob on the door and open the door.Your alarm should then activate. You can also hold down the panic button on the remote

How do I turn my alarm on the saturn vue

If you have a factory installed alarm the original factory key can activate the alarm by pressing the lock button twice(rapidly). The lock symbol is generally a symbol of a "locked" lock.
If there is no buttons on the car key or it is an aftermarket alarm, a key fab (a little alarm remote control with 2-4 buttons the size of a keychain) is needed to activate/deactivate the alarm.

Hi there, The car alarm on my 2007 Camry keeps going off randomly. I don't really want a car alarm. How do you disable it? Thanks, Richard

can you check under hood, there is a fuse box, remove fuse box lid, inside is printed names of circuits if you have an alarm circuit , remove that fuse, then check if car starts and runs, if so, alarm is disabled.

My 96 toyota camry can't be started because the alarm is activated and I am unable to disable it.

Find the alarm box (module) under the driver's side dashboard;right around feet area. You may need to remove a few panels. Find the box and disconnect the connector, then try to start it. I believe it's not cranking? Let me know anything else.
