Changing the PCV Valve on 1993 Toyota 4Runner

Dear FixYa,
I've located the PCV valve on my 93 4Runner, but cannot figure out how to get my hand or a tool on it to pull it out for replacement.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
-Mike

Do you mean PCV valve? If so it should be right on top of the valve cover.

Smoke in exhaust

You have a bad PCV valve, i don't have the time right now to help you locate it but any parts store will help you locate it. THe valve goes into the intake and has a check valve in it. THe valve is stuck open sucking oil into the intake.

The expansion valve is located on the evaporator, under the dash, in the main cooler box. You have to pull the cooler box out of the car to change it. Not easy.
