If you're going to keep this vehicle, and intend on doing some of the maintenance yourself, go to an auto parts store and purchase a Haynes or Chilton repair/service manual. The $15-$20 investment will provide you most all the answers you need regarding proper steps and tools needed.

I bought a used freestyle without knowing the keyless entry code and need to know where the computer module is.

The dealer will have to recover the code for you. Look at spending about 100 bucks unless you are getting other work done they will usually do it for free if you have other biz with them.
