Question about 2003 Nissan Xterra
A couple of months after I installed a new radio into my Xterra the radio stopped working. I found that the power to the radio was dead, this is the one supplied when you turn on the key. I check the fuses and they seem okay. I'm guessing there may be a relay out.
All I know is that it is the green/red wire and it no longer supplies any voltage, but the constant power for the clock does work.
Trace the wire back to the fuse box with a lighted 12V tester and if the fuse appears to be good, check the hot side of the fuse and go from their. You might have to find another hot point (key activated) to wire the stereo into with an inline fuse.
