Question about 1998 Ford Escort
Starts ok first and drives fine but if its cold out it cuts out then struggles 2 re start but dos after a wile then is fine the rest ov the trip till the engine is cold again any idears whats wrong ??
Your coolant system aint heating up like it should. Its your thermostat. You need to change it. its broke. There are four parts to your thermostat. You need to make sure that you get all four parts out. A thermostat costs about five bucks. Its an engine temp. regulator. If its broke your engine wont warm up at all. If it seizes shut, your engine will overheat. Your thermostat is broke. I Have the exact same car that I have been repairing for the last three months.
