How do i replace my radiator

Did you check the bottom hose?. All depends on the condition of the core , if a stone hit a tube and made a hole it could be repaired . You could get a after market exchange radiator . If the car is several years old that mat be the way to go .

Where to put stop leak in the radiator and what kind

Hi, I've been working on cars for over 40 years and found that all radiator stop leaks are a waste of time and money. Radiators have small cooling lines in front of the cooling fan which need to stay open. Stop leak products stops up radiators, engines and heater coils. If the radiator is not able to remove the heat for the engine, you'll most likely blow a head gasket. Replace the radiator $200.00. You'll have to do it anyway after you blow a head gasket ($1500-2500).

Radiator has a split by the cap and is leaking coolant, what should i do?

you should never use any or those stop leak, quick plug, fix a flat things. ALL ARE TEMPORARY ALL. also they will in some way or another make it more difficult for a shop or dealer to fix it properly. those products are meant for road trips, so that you can limp it to a service station with out damaging your system anymore.
what you should do is take it into a radiator shop and see if they can patch it. i dont know how much or how often this is done but its cheaper than replacing the radiator. you might be able to find one in the junk yard just make sure to run the hose through it for a bit before you install it

I have a 2001 buick lesabre from 2days ago it was getting cold , i founnd leak the coolant but after driving for a while leaking stopped but it get cold coolant leak again? should i replace something or...

When the motor heats up it is expanding thus stopping the leak. You need to have it checked by someone or put in some radiator dye from your local auto parts store and use a black light to determine where the leak is. Is is not hard to warp a hot engine lacking coolant and then we are talking major work to fix it. You could use some radiator stop leak found at your local auto part store such as a product called BARS LEAK which could cure the problem or make it worse by plugging the flow of coolant. You really need to know where the leak is at and get it fixed.

the stop leak has clogged your heater core. you may be able to flush it out if there is still some flow, otherwise heater core will need to come out.

I am trying to put in Bar's liquid copper seal leak for the intake and radiator. The instructions says to put it in the radiator, but I do not see the radiator opening any where, all I see is the plastic...

That is the rad cap. They call this a surge tank. The rad it self does not have a cap. If your intake is leaking I would not put the stop leak in because it will not stop it. the 3.4/3.1 l engine is known for intake leaks. the problem is the gasket is made of plastic and it cracks. If coolant is going inturnal then you have to change the intake gasket or you will damage the lower end. sorry for the bad news. An intake will cost about $700 can

Anti freeze all over the place

it could be antifreeze that was on the frame after changing the radiator the best way to tell is run car through a car that has the bottom wash or in a self wash and on... rinse... spray the area around radiator ...then check again later for antifreeze on ground
