Question about 1998 Ford Escort
To find faulty component, under hood locate alarm hood switch and push it repeatedly till you hear audible beep/s then go round each door in turn and when opening and closing should hear beep and same with hood switch and boot, when finished testing leave for min approx then will hear another beep to show it has exited the alarm test.
