2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee windows interior electrical problems

My mirrors, memory seats, windows and driver side locks are not working. I have checked all of the fuses and they seem to be ok. The only thing I noticed is that the battery has a green indicator on it and it is showing black. The car starts and seems to be running fine.

Same problem started yesterday afternoon - interior lights stay on, driver's side controls (windows, door lock, mirrors) don't work. Haven' tried looking in the boot yet - not at 14 degrees outside!

I have the same exact problem with my 2004 Jeep. All of a sudden out of no where my driver side locks seemed to act up. This morning everything was ok. Afternoon NOTHING--now the windows in the whole car don't work, Interior lights stay on unless shut ALL THE WAY OFF when the headlights are on--and can't use the mirror either!

Is it a fuse or is it a wire? What has anyone found out. Getting stuck w/ the holidays here really blows!

Electric windows do not work

This could be the wiring harness that goes from the cab to the door. You are going to need a meter or test light to check the wires for voltages. You are also going to need to take the interior panel off the inside of that door. Let me know if you want more info.

Wow I just had the problem fixed on my '04 jeep yesterday. The wires under the driver's side power seat were pinched and or broken. I had an electrical specialist - not a dealer- fix the problem for $85 what a deal.

I read several posts where individuals were having almost the same problems. We checked the boot between the door and car sure enough there was a yellow wire broken. We fixed the wire and this fixed all the problems. Everything is working fine. Thanks your website is the best.
