I have a 1998 Dodge Durango SLT-V6 that has no heat.

The heater core might need back flushed, I just did mine this winter. Go to dakota-durango.com and introduce your self and your rare as ever truck, a v6 durango, and have fun.

Dodge Durango 2000, Won't turn over

Take the battery out and get it tested. Even if it has 12 volts the load of trying to turn the starter can pull it down below 9volts. You need a min of 10.5v to start the car

It could be a weakening fuel sending unit or fuel pump. You can try adding an additive to the gas called HEAT. You can find this at your local auto store. It may help thin out the gas a little.

2001 Dodge Durango will start from a jump.

replace the battery, on a dodge when battery is weak the idle air control solenoid tries to search for the right position. and will keep stalling sometimes wont stay running.

Check the fuel pump when you turn the key forward but dont crank it and see if you hear the fuel pump engaging. I hope this helps.

Sound like the computer to me, if it started acting up before you changed the battery. I am not certain if your model is affected by "no power". Disconnecting the battery with no other power source can affect the RAM of the computer, Random Access Memory. The memory can be erased and the computer would have to be reprogrammed at the dealer. the only thing I can think of, sorry I cant think of something simpler or something you can fix yourself.
