Should be between 9-13lbs for throttle body cars, higher for separate fuel injectors

Why wont the fuel go to the carburetor on 1989 chevy 350 cdi. It has new injectors, fuel pump, and fuel filter.

The injectors are mounted in a throttle body.
If you have normal fuel pressure at the injectors, they may not be getting power and ground from the engine computer.

Fuel getting to injecter but won't spray.89 Chevy s 10 truck

possible pressure regulater no good ,is this happening for all injector ports ? or just one ? also check fuel pressure from pump ,are you getting electrical pulse to each injector ,that would show that computer is working , one last resort is try just a spot of starting fluid if it starts and runs its a fuel supply problem please get back to me hopefuly this works .Woody

HAVE AN 89 CHEVY 4WD w/ 350 5.7> l. will not go

Has the fuel filter been replaced with the fuel pump or it could be a restriction in the exhaust. In order to check that properly you would need a back pressure gauge and measure back pressure or just disconnect exhaust from the manifolds and drive it around and see if all the power is back.
(IT'S GOING TO BE LOUD) Let me know.

Fuel injectors spraying to much gas

to be honest, with an 89, all you can do is replace the injector. how an injector works is there is a small amount of current that is run to a coil around a rod (if you are unaware, this produces magnetic fields). the magnetic field produced pulls up what is usually a small ball, allowing fuel to go through the tip of the injector nozzle. all you can do to fix this is to buy different injectors.

just a question..why do you think they are spraying too much fuel? because it may just be that you have excessive fuel pressure and your fuel pressure regulator is bad. hit me back.

90 chevy k1500 350 tbi fuel problem starts but wont stay running

try bypassing the oil pressure switch on the back of the block behind the distributor, if there oil pressure switch goes bad it will do this. had one that drove me nuts trying to fix it then figured out I had to buy a book and low and behold thee it was 3 wire oil pressure switch you can't see between the engine and fire wall just behind the distributor and costs 8 bucks to buy new.

90 chevy 350 with TBI starts but wont stay running changed fuel filter and fuel regulator dont know what next

I have a 90 chevy k1500 350 tbi with same problem! I have traced problem to... after turning on key fuel pump kicks on when u crank it over injectors shoot gas and truck starts! After few seconds injectors stop spraying and truck dies! This can happen many times over and over! Eventually sometimes truck stays running and all is great! I changed ignition module, oil pressure sending unit (which i was told controls gas after vehicle is running) fuel filter, computer, fuel pump relay, I am at a loss now! Hope this helps and hope someone can help me!

93 chevy 350 throddle body problem

Hello;
The injector assembly also contains the pressure regulator. Since the truck has been sitting, you may have some corrosion in the regulator and the injectors. Try a fuel cleaner and the work on the regulator.
Thanks;
