They are in the corner of the front by the bottom of the radiator rite below the air fillter assembaly bolted to frame two bolts size 5/16 socket it has 4 wires it is small but with the problems it sounds just like the problem i personaly had this week i would change the coolant senser first it goes for about $29.00 at autozone, just so you know the coolant senser tells your cpu to turn the fans on and the the cpu turns the relay on and then the fans turn on

Heater fan not operating

Most of the time when a heater blower quits working it is the blower switch that fails rather than the motor. Blower switch can be accessed in the dash panel.

yes, as the relay heats up the contacts close, so the fan can pop on at will

Where is the heater core located on a 1994 chevy corsica?

the heater core for this vehicles located behind the glove box on passenger order to remove it,you will need to be mechanically inclined.are you?do you have the tools to do so?8mm sockets and ratchet? you will need patience! if not,i recommend you ask your mechanic to replace it. but 1st i will ask these questions. is it the heater core? is fluid leaking onto the passenger side floorboard? that's one sign of a bad heater core. no heat? have you checked the fluid level in your radiator? does your cooling fan come on when the engine's at operating temperature? if not, then it may be a bad temperature sensor at the radiator. it may also be a bad fan relay in the main fuse box under the hood in the main fuse box[black box w/lid under the hood.lift the cover off of it and under the lid,it tells you fuse and the relay locations.if you turn your a/c on and the fan comes on,and does'nt come on when the engine gets hot,the fan sensor may be bad.the fan sensor that tells the fan to come on when the engines running hot. thank you,for choosing fixya, com!

Fan motor on heater has stopped when I switch between the settings ( defrost to upper & lower heat) I hear the gates moving but the fan won't come on ( no heat ) it's very cold please any sugestions...

first check the heater fuse...then you want to unplug the fan motor lead and run it straight to the battery...if it works then you will need to check the resistor is located on the heater housing right near the controls the different speeds for the fan and usually has 4-6 wires coming off it. If these don't fix the problem...try looking in the fuse/relay box both in the cab and under hood to see if you have a relay for the heater it may be defective

A/c heater fan works intermittently - i leave it on 'auto' but sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't

These climate control systems are very complicated. It could be a lot of different things. Usually it is a relay. When it doesn't come on the next time, take your hand and bump under the dash on the passengers side under the glove box. If the fan comes on then it is your relay. Sometimes the relays don't close to provide power to the fan motor. Usually this is the problem.

Heater fan blowing intermittently or not at all

Most likely it does, if you can hit the motor and it will run. I can't say for sure but you might want to chk. to see if you got a heater blower motor resister. There located (if its got one) around the heater motor and it controls blower speeds, might be worth checking out.
