CD WILL NOT COME OUT OF THE SINGLE DRIVE IN A MULTIPLE UNIT CD CHANGER AUDI A6 AFTER PRESSING THE EJECT KEY

    thanks for your effort. The cd is still stuck in the cd 7 slot in the separate player, ( not in the autochanger 6cd part ) the reason may be the raised edge of the cd. suppose i'll have to go to a dealer to fix. ouch!

You should get the 6 case out by inserting manually a credit card sized card to it's side.
Once the case is out manually, take out all the cd's and insert the charger again. Open the radio...it should fix it.

It seems your car is the newer model of A6 with the new ECU module that will require a diagnostics computer to actually activate the radio, in the older model you could remove the earth for 15 minutes but not in these ones.

My TT was imported new from Japan....Has AMAZING video and sound system unfortunateley its all Japanese to me!! The manual that comes with it is about an inch think...Its got built in Navigation system...


I know you can that you can change this by simply hooking up a scan tool for specific year. There are language options accessible for situations like this. Here is a sample of what can be changed using VAG 5052 or equivalent scanners.

Adaptation Channel 001: Tire Circumference The tire circumference is beeing adapted in "mm".

no u will need to send the deck in for repair, the dealer doesn't sell any parts to repair the deck to the public, only authorized repair stations, the problem is the CD loading mecnanism has a broken part.

Cd player hook up


This should be plug and play. If it is not working, check your fuse box for a blown fuse. My radio has a CD/CDC button to swithc between in car CD and CD Changer.

How can I find a replacement 6 CD disc changer for my Audi A6 (2005 model) please?


Most of the OEM headunits and changers are made by common radio manufacturers. Visit http://www.crutchfield.com and contact them. They make adapters that will interface an aftermarket changer to your factory system. if you could get me a model number and any other info offf of the radio and the changer I will research adapters and which brands and models of changers will work.
