The fuse will not be the problem, trust me. The problem will be the flexible rotating contact wheel under the steering wheel having a broken filament contact,.

Need to check the owner's manual under fuse and relay locations.

  • Adam Scott Roberts Jun 09, 2012

it could be the clockspring assembly in the steering wheel, but that assembly also controls the airbag on the driver's side and the cruise control. if any of the other two are malfunctioning, the replace the clockspring assembly. if not then may want to contact the dealer for a fuse box schematic.

The problem can be with the horn pad, the horn relay or the horn itself. Find your horn relay, it should be in the engine compartment fuse box. Remove the relay and test for power at the legs. there should be two legs that have power. If there is power there, take the cover off the relay and plug it back in. Squeez the relay points together and see if the horn works. If the horn still does not work, it is probably the horn itself. If it does work it is probably the horn pad, but you don't want to mess with that because of the air bag. Let a pro do it.

All of this is predicated on the fact that you have checked all the fuses.

Hope this helps
