Power sliding door doesn't work!

One of the power sliding doors doesn't work. It's the one directly behind the passenger's seat. The other one works fine, as well as the rear power door lift. Any thoughts?

Me too, it's my driver's side door and hatch that are defective on mine.  Also have an intermittently working driver's side window.  The electronics on this thing are completely possessed.

SOURCE: Power sliding door doesn't work!

Try taking off the door, or spray some wd-40 on the rail. It sounds like its either not getting enough power or its getting caught on something.

Where is the battery located in a 2011 Acadia?

The Acadia's battery is beneath the floor behind the front passenger seat.
Slide that seat all the way forward, then open the rear passenger door. If you've got a floor mat directly behind the front seats, it will have to be moved aside. There is a panel on the floor with one screw holding it closed. Remove this panel to access the battery compartment.

2008 caravan power sliding door not working

The 30A fuse J11 in the totally integrated power module (TIPM) protects the driver side power sliding door module. The 40A fuse J3 in the totally integrated power module (TIPM) protects the left rear door module. If these two fuses are good, the modules may be defective.

Eletcric windows diagram

Window fuse's and relay's may be up under driver or passenger side dash or behind glove box, under the hood and even under the seats, and finally on the ends of the dash. All passenger power windows and locks are controlled thru and get power from the master control switch on the drivers door.

Drivers door window gets used the most so it could be the motor, window switch, relay or fuse.
Could also be a broken wire in the rubber boot going from the door to the body. You will have to eliminate each till you find the culprit. Check that all switches return to neutral when released.
The motor and the relay are the most likely to cause this problem. Try swapping the relay with a working window relay. If it still doesn't work, remove the door panel and remove the window motor.
Turn the motor shaft in both directions by hand several turns. Then plug the motor in and see if the switch will now run the motor. Sometimes that's all it takes to get it working again. I have had to do this with brand new motors. If voltage is not present at the motor connector, either a bad switch or a broken wire exists. Make sure to check for voltage coming to that windows switch. Actually, GM use's a circuit breaker type relay for each window and one fuse for all the circuit breakers. If you have a lockout switch it may be faulty.

Power locks stop working on sliding doors

If neither the lock or unlock works, first check the power lock fuse(s). If the fuses are good, then have the relay tested. You can call your dealer to find out where these components are located on your specific vehicle.

The rear sliding door will not open or close electrically.

there is a motor that drives the doors just like the motors used for windows. they do go bad.you will need to inspect the motor it is located behind the wall panel behind the sliding door. you may have to remove some bolts for seat belts and there may be some screws but most of the panel is held on with snap clips. take your time and don't break them if you can. when reinstalling be sure you are lined up before forcing the panel it will just bend the clips. once in there try tapping on the motor lightly with a small hammer. then try it it may start working again. I've seen it many times. if not maybe get one from a salvage yard. saves a lot of money. good luck

1999 Pontiac Montana passenger sliding door stopped working.

Verify the wiring harness which passes under plastic step & carpet at front passenger side. This wiring harness goes from the firewall to the pillar on the right side and some have crimped connectors in them to act as junction between two or more wires (ususlly the 12volt feed), which deteriorate with time, especially with Salt & Water. Then the electric sliding door stops working and even driver the electric seat can loose power.
