Possibly a bad ignition coil which was a common issue on the 5.2/5.9 motors as they age.

I need to know how to install spark plugs on a 2004 dodge durango

3.7L and 4.7L engine have ignition coil for each cylinder. You need to remove the resonator from the throttle body. Now one a time disconnect electrical connector from the coil. With a 10mm socket remove the bolt, now remove the coil , (it will be really tight). You will need different lenght extenions to reach the spark plugs. When installing new plugs use piece of hose to start plugs (so not to cross tread the hole)

On the right hand side toward the firewall there is a 10 mm nut remove it, then at the front under the air horn there is another 10 mm nut remove it and it will lift right off.
