1994 plymouth acclaim

Freeze plug rusted out, replaced it Then car started running like a vaccum problem, and running rough. Not losing any coolant. Car not running hot just rough. What could be causing the car to act like that? What do I check?

Did you loosen a ground strap near /at motor mount/ freeze plug location...bad ground is a good suspect here...good luck

Where is the radiator freeze plug on the 1994 acclaim?


No freeze plug on radiator, freeze plugs only on engine block and cylinder head's. radiator drain ****, located on passenger side below upper coolant hose all the way to the button of radiator.

Replace a fuel pump on a 1994 acclaim


The fuel pump is located in the fuel tank. If you buy yourself a Haynes or Chilton manual from your local parts store it will tell you the proper procedure. They usually run around $30.

Not sure what yor experiencing . Do you have crank no start or no crank no start? No crank no start is battery and cables issue. Crank no start is ignition , plugs, and fuel.

Where do I find the freeze plug on my 90 plymouth acclaim 6 cyl?


There are mutiple freeze plugs. There are some in the sides of your engine block as well as the rear of the block. Locations depend on what motor you have.

Make sure the coolant is full, then change the coolant sensor near the thermostat housing. This will put the car into advanced timing mode again. Do not over torque the sensor. 14ft.lbs or less as needed to stop seapage. Good luck!

Heat riser pan in place or is it rusted off? if so you might look into reconfiguring it out.
