Question about 1991 Volvo 740
I have a 1991 740 turbo wagon made in sweeden and imported to the us from germany. my heater fan will not turn on. it worked intermittently for a few months then quit comming on all together. is there a relay or something that could cause this? also i have checked the other two switches on the panel and they work. i have my dash wide open and am open to any suggetion
thank you jory
The 740 and 940 are very similar (especially the early 940's) The heater switch is worked by cables a little like bike brake cables, chances are one of these is seized...ours is the same, I am planning to open it up and have a go at freeing them, but not till the weather cranks above zero in the uk!
Hope this helps a bit
