Dash lights don't turn on starts for a moment then stops. Plenty of fuel in fuel rail to injectors.Indicators don't work until motor starts then stops. Battery is strong, earth is good clean and tight etc
That is either a sensor or an alarm system acting up. Not a Honda guy but on others thats what can cause that. If the key has a rfid chip its the alarm and you may need a new key from the stealer. what happens in that case is the car doesn't detect an authourised key and thinks it is being stolen and shuts off after a half second of running.

It sounds like, maybe during the stereo installation, that a fuse was blown. It is a common problem. Check your fuse that runs to your instrument panel. If this is blown, replace it with fuse w/ same voltage. Hope this was helpful... Please take a second to rate how helpful this suggestion was. Thanks and good luck!

could be speed sensor. the light is on because the trans doenst know the vehicle speed.
SOURCE: 95 Honda Accord, fuse keeps blowing and no dash lights
sounds like a short
look at wires under dash
then look at te wires coming through the fire wall
check lighter too it might have a coin stuck in it as it will cause a short too
SOURCE: 2005 Honda Accord 4cyl cruise control does not work
check all your fuses first then take a look at the brake switch and there is a criuse cancel switch also, i think there may be a problem with the switch, even if the cancel switch was bad i think the power would still stay on but cruise would just stop and power would stay on. check fuses and switches anyway to be sure then take a look at the power switch.

Car has no immobiliser and original fault came to pass whilst driving. Hasme stumped @#$%^&*
Tried to respond before but since there is no rfid to ruin your day then I would go back to basics and check your fuel pressure on the rail ie bad regulator or filter, could also be something like a crank or cam position sensor if it has one.
Can't see it being coils etc as it should start and run bad. Sounds like fuel or a controller issue which is why I suggested the rfid as what you describe is identical to that on other vehicles.
Just thought as I closed check you hoses and connections for a vacuum leak. Old hose cracks or breaks and could do this too.
