Hello, I have a problem with my drivers side window. I just bought a 98 vaden plas yesterday and all windows worked. One day after the drivers side window will not roll down, and when I push the button down I hear a click followed shortly by another click. Before this problem I had to find a way to exit valet mode. Do these problems coincide? Not sure what to do.

Turn clima off and try heater again, check radiator level and top up with antifreeze.if this doesnt work then ask a mobile mechanic to have a look as this is jaguar, the cream of cars but its not really a sunday mechanic do it yourself sort of car.Their could be any number of things wrong from a valve not opening to the clima control computer playing up,evan a simple rubber vac tube end has split can cause this as the valve will not open allowing the hot water through. Now remember its a jag and such must be polished every sunday, interior cleaned as well and every couple of weeks the leather cleaned and nourished with a leather type product,no smoking allowed or dogs or little kids. And most important dont let no porches or merc to pass on the motorway show them a clean pair of twin exhaust pipe leaving them i have a jag as well so i know what it can do

Check your Coolant level and top it off (to the manufacturer's recommendations in your owners manual).

SOURCE: Air conditioner charged won't blow cold air

It sounds like you either have bad controls or stuck dampers in your vents. The stuck dampers are usually caused by plant debris getting in to the air system.

How do I determine why 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix blows no heat with step by step instructions?

The most common reason is the coolant is low.
Check coolant level when vehicle is cool.
If coolant is low start vehicle and fill radiator with coolant.
if coolant was needed high probability there is a leak
look at all cooling system hoses, thermostat housing, all over the engine to try and find leak and repair.

if coolant isnt low, make sure its not really dirty...reddish mud colored. If it is the radiator is probably clogged and needs to be flushed thoroughly..then refilled with coolant.

there will be two heater hoses coming out of firewall..they are connected to the heater core and one hose directs flow of coolant to the heater core, other hose directs flow away from heater core..start vehicle and run until engine is warm then feel each heater hose as close to the firewall as possible..if one hose is hot and other is cool..the heater core is clogged and will probably require replacement. also look in passenger floorboard if coolant is leaking there..heater core requires replacement.

if you check these things and find none of the issues, let me know, and I will tell you what to check next.
Good Luck with it and if you have any.question let me know

How do i fix my heater on my 2012 dodge durango its blowing cold air

Make sure that your coolant level is filled. If it's not, fill it and run it. Also try flushing the heater core to make sure you don't have debris in the core. Use a garden hose for this. Simply disconnect both hoses and put the garden hose to one side and let it flow out of the other until you see clean fluid coming out. Reconnect the hoses and fill. Run it again and see if that helps any. Check that the heater blend door is actually moving from hot to cold also. It may be stuck in the cold position casing your problem. Hope this helps. Good luck.

No heat, blows cold air

Possibly a plugged up heater core or a blend door not actuating properly, try to back flush the heater core. If that doesn't work may need someone to check it out more thoroughly.

I have a 4cyl 1999 Jeep Wrangler. The heater only blows warm air, no hot air. I have back flushed the heater core with a garden hose and there was no clog. I have checked the t-stat and it is...

The key is the heater hoses. The top hose is the inlet for the heater core and the bottom is the return line. If the bottom hose is not hot, there is little flow through the heater core. It does not have to be completely clogged to reduce the heat output. The core needs to be flushed multiple times IN BOTH DIRECTIONS through the heater hoses. If this does not restore the heat, try a commercial/radiator flush. Many people have had alot of success by filling the core, through the heater hoses, with a CLR type product and letting it sit for 10-15 minutes to remove scale followed by a thorough flush.

Over heating and the heater dosent work

looks like you have an airlock in the radiator....
start the truck when cold, and remove radiator cap.
let the truck run without the cap and you're supposed to see air bubbles coming out.

let the car run until there is no more bubbles( it can take up to 1/2 hour ) then replace the cap.

remember to always keep the radiator full when you're doing this....

Air conditioner charged won't blow cold air, heater core will not let cold air enter into the vehicle. If I close off the heater it will blow cold air. Heat blows all the time even in off postions

It sounds like you either have bad controls or stuck dampers in your vents. The stuck dampers are usually caused by plant debris getting in to the air system.
