1987 Suzuki Samurai alternator wiring. No original wire harness

Bought a used 1987 Suzuki Samurai and am replacing the alternator. The new alternator (Autolite pro-tech) has a total of 4 electrical connections. Seperate from the connectors intended for the original wiring harness is the positive lead (labeled "B" on the new alternator) which goes to the positive post on the battery.
Without replacing the wiring harness, what do the remaining three connections go to?

I would return that alternater and bring the one you are replacing to compare to new one. make sure they are the same. they sell several differant ones for the same vehicle.

How do you use 4 wheel drive on a suzuki samuri

the samurai doesn't have 2L it has 2H.
there are 4 modes on the transfercase. 2H, 4H, N and 4L.
2H engages the rear wheels only while 4H and 4L engages all 4 wheels. N disengages all 4 wheels, useful for flat towing.

I have a 1987 suzuki samurai and have white smoke coming from exhaust looked on dipstik and see no signs of antifreeze was told that it could be the timing belt cover leaking that doesent make sense to me...

Are you losing coolant? If so then you could have a cracked head on the exhaust side and it is leaking coolant into the exhaust and being burnt.

The plug wires are all off of the plugs on my suzuki samairi. i need to know which one goes where.

The best information I have is;
The order is 1-3-4-2
This is the Firing order for the 1987 suzuki samurai with a 1.3 motor.

When changing plugs, do them one at a time to prevent mixups.

Underneath transfer shifter is what is called a "sheet" under the shift lever ball. The sheet is a plastic spacer that breaks up, remove broken pieces and tnstall new shet, available at a Suzuki dealer
