I need the schematics for a 1998 Ford Van sliding door

We have a 1998 Ford Econoline van and need the schematics for the sliding door because it will not close all of the way and the lock schematics.

that usually goes onto the top latch.. be better to remove top latch an visibly see the eye where to hook ur cable for solid connection.. very visible eye..cant mistake it .then proceed with the rest of install to exterior handle

Hi I had a ford ounce but never again .great car for the first 200,000 ks but after that fix up things that should have larsted much longer than thay did . GO TOYOTA .

On a 1998 Ford Econoline E-150, it has electric door locks. The side door and the back door lock does not work. Everything else in the van works. Where do I start looking besides fuse #4 and #5.


it could be the lock motor or it could be the wiring that came lose or wire damage ! need to now if it works from the doors that dont work or from the driver door it my be locked out at the diver door or it can be a wire lose or switch on driver door !

You can google 87 Econoline Van Vacuum lines diagram and you'll find a site that will give it to you for free. If you don't find it purchase a Haynes manual from your local auto parts store.
