    Thanks Guys.

Turned out to be the hazard lights wiring had been pulled from the socket - just hooked a sub to the lighter wiring and mustn`t have put it back together again properly

Do the lights light up? A bad hazard switch will cause the turn signals not to work.

The relays are usually under the hood on either side of the engine.

All indicators not working including dash indicator lights have replaced blown fuse still nothing could it be the relay and where is it located

My first guess would be the indicator switch itself. Do the hazards work? If the hazards work but not the turn signal switch, then the switch itself has malfunctioned.

No indicators working or hazard lights how can you tell if a relay fuse is broken

fuses can be checked by a visual inspection ( the wire between the 2 prongs must be intact not broken in the middle) or with a multimeter set to continuity test (ohms setting) if there is a circuit the reading will drop to zero and if not continuity the reading will not change

1992 nissan maxima no indicators working

check the fuses first then if they are good then you could have a bad signal flasher that needs to be the lights work front and back when trying the signals,if so then it could be the flasher.note that the hazard flasher looks the same as the signal flasher, also do the hazard lights work when operated if so this indicates the signal flasher as well, and eliminates the turn signal switch as the problem.

The blinkers are not working correctly on my 2001 Nissan Xterra. I believe I need to change the blinker fuse. I need some instructions....

hi again thanks for reply from the symptoms you now clearly describe it would seem the flasher unit is faulty ie as it is operating its contact may be o/heating and failing these are not servicable and have to be renewed simple diy ? the point you made that your hazard indicators are also doing same as indicators woul suggest that the actual flasher relay unit is the actual hazard switch this is common on other cars so you need to remove switch/hazard and unplug the socket then fit a replacement you could try other cars /breakers? for same switch and try lights if ok then much cheaper than a new one hope this helps ?

Turn signal isn't working on my 1992 Nissan pathfinder. Fuse is fine. Hazards are working. It might be the relay, but I don't know where it is located.

you americans and your facination for relays, they rarely go wrong ,if hazards working and flashers do not then their is only two options ,the hazard light switch or the flasher switch ,i would change the hazard light switch first ,they are interconnected

I think the hazards and the indicators function on different relays. If the indicator switch is working ok then the relay is probably not working.
