Question about Pontiac G6
They have a resistor in the motor that controls the speed usually only 4th works when they go but i have seen only one setting stop working before. heres a step by step to replace it.
Under the glove compartment you will find a plastic cover thats about a foot by 1/2 foot, just pull that off. Then you will be able to see the blower and a plug that has 4 wires comming out of it. Unplug it and take the 2 small hex blots out, then the resistor will slide out easily. Screw the new one in, plug back in, replace the cover and your good to go.
