Car has a vibration

In the highway now we have notice some type of vibration to our foot when it is on the accelerator

Either bad motor mounts or out of balance tires

Car vibrates when accelerating to the right. Also, vibrates when going down the highway and hit bumps.


Sounds like motor mount or trans mount, have someone get in car put it in drive with foot firmly on brake and give it some gas do the same in reverse if motor moves more than an inch or so, or clunks, replace mounts

It sounds like one or both of the drive axle inner joints are worn out. This condition will give a very pronounced vibration on acceleration only and will be worse with increased speed.

Intermittent vibration coming from engine while a/c running


Change plug wires. Most often, plug wires will only short out when they are under load, so you don't notice anything until your motor is doing a little extra work.
