Toyota Tacoma 2007 factory code alarm not working

Hello, had a fog light installed, on my vehicle and the electrician had to disconnect alarm, he has reconnected alarm back, but it does not work, only if you press the alarm on the remote button, the alarm horn works and turns off once pressed again, but if you enter manually in terms of opening the door on the passenger side with the key, it does not sound, please help. Thanks

SOURCE: 2000 Toyota Rav4, just purchased. Has a two button

My ex girlfriend had a factory installed honda remote strt on her vehicle. It was activated by hitting the lock button two times in succession. Some vehicles use a combination of the lock-unlock buttons. try using some combinations on the remote, many "oem" remote starts are installed by aftermarket installers so who knows what they did as a start function, it could also have been changed by the previous owner.

Check the bulb, socket interface, clean contact points. IF you have a test light or ohmeter, check for power to the socket. If unpowered, check the fuse, if powered check bulb element, and socket condition.

I'm not sure that is possible without having your key in your ignition. When reprogramming keys or transmitters they would all have to be reprogrammed to work with your vehicle at the same time so as long as your current keys and transmitters work I'm pretty sure that this incident is pure fluke!
