2003 bravada heated seats and elec. windows don't work after improper hookup of jumper cables. What to check ?

Find the drivers door module and the memory seat module. All the orange wires should have power to them. If they don't than you need to go back and check the fuses. The LGM/DSM and DDM fuse for sure in the rear fuse block.

Since nothing is working I suspect that the modules may have shut down. Since they communicate with each other it would probably be a good start to scan these with a multi-function scan tool to 1. see if there are codes and clear them and 2. to see if they are still capable of communication.

There will likely be codes stored in every module. Clearing all of the codes would be a good start.

1 Answer

Which fuse is to the seats?

On the interior fuse panel there should be two small metal boxes (silver). One will be a breaker for the power locks/seats and the other a breaker for power windows. All you do is remove it, it will reset, and reinstall it.
The I/P fuses should be on the left side of the dash.
