On the outside of the car, on the passenger cowl, there is a black plastic piece that goes from the right side to mid windshield. there are some screw fasteners you can undo with a coin and the other ones you have to pop the center up before they will release. once you remove it you will see the cabin air filter. first, on my 2000 impala, it never had a cabin air filter installed from the factory, second on the bottom of the plastic cowl piece there should be a cork and rubber piece that diverts the water taken into that area to drain out the right side of the body. when the piece was installed at the factory it was jammed in there and was actually blocking the drain. i wound up replacing the cork and rubber piece myself (with some sheet rubber and stainless steel hardware) and when reinstalling (with a cabin air filter) i made sure it wasn't smushed into the drain. i had water leaks when ever i parked on the side of the road due to the sloping of roads the water would go to the right side. when in my driveway there were no leaks. this problem burned up two blower motors and two fan speed controls (resistors). price both of them!

Sounds like you may have a leak under the carpet or from a seal on the firewall . there is a seal under the carpet for drianing the car if its ever flooded check it and replace it if needed you may have to remove the seat

My passanger side floor front & rear wet,is it the heater core or condensation?

Hi there sounds like the drain for your air conditioner is blocked, what you need to do is find a little rubber hose extruding from the firewall under the bonnet and stick a long thin woe up it to clear the blockage, hope this helps

Toyota 2006 Corolla wet floor mat passenger side

It sounds like your heater core is done. That is in a tight spot in behind the glove box. Get a new one for around $60.00.

Under the floor mats are wet on both sides and is not the heater core

Water is leaking into the truck from somewhere. Water leaks can be very difficult to find and require removing interior trim. I would recommend taking it to the dealer or a good bodyshop.

Front floor board stays wet, believe it's the air conditioner

If the floorboard is wet on the passanger side of van it would be the drain tube causing the problem. Raise the hood and go to the passanger side of van and look down on the firewall. You will see a black tube about 4 to 5 inches long hanging down. Use a heavy duty tie strap to insert into the drain tube to remove the obstruction so the water can drain. Do not use anything sharp that will punch a hole in the tube. By doing this it will correct your problem. Hope this will help.

Wet floor mats and stinky ac/heat unit...

Your drain lines are clogged, and need to be blown out with compressed air. What you are smelling is mold.

Wet floor

If this has happened since you started using the A/C it is probably the drain tube for the A/C. They get plugged and usually someone has to go under the car with a coathanger and open the tube up.

Wet passenger side

I believe the problem is a leak in your heater core. The water would run down the inside of the firewall or near it thus running under the mat.

Water Leaking on Passanger Side Floor, but it's not antifreeze!

Most likely a clogged drain for the condenser. this is a common problem.
