No the mounts in the floor should be there. You can't just drill holes, the sheet metal would tear away in a crash.

SOURCE: rear struts replacement

It's kinda hard to explain on line but I think you need to remove the rear seat back which you might have to remove the sitting portion to get that out. Once the seat back is out of the way most of the parcel shelves slide foreward. I've done this on some newer BMWs and the plastic on the sides needed to be removed also. If you could post a picture of the whole rear shelf area I could probably help you more.

SOURCE: fuel pump - 2003 Pontiac Grand Am

2003 Grand Am GT,You have to drop the fuel tank, remove heat shield, remove all lines, electrical plug ins, then you are ready to do straps,be sure to go get extra nut and bolts for straps (2) of them had to cut off old ones, once straps are off depending on how much gas is in the tank used jack to lower tank, fuel pump was a twist off with locking mechanisms on top of tank, used a rubber malet and screw driver to loosen, pull out after diconnecting plug ins etc, replace blue plug in for harness to fit new pump, was recommended since it could corrode, lifted tank back up connected wires, lines etc,put key in on position 3-4 times for pump to pump, car started 1st time,my first fuel pump took my son and I 2 1/2 hours, new pump $250.00 wire harness $15.00 and two new nuts and bolts $3.25

SOURCE: how to remove rear seat from 2001 Audi allroad

Not 100% sure on yours but normally you'll either have a couple of bolts way down under seat cushion at front, near floor, or in some cases, you have to push seat cushion back toward rear window, hard & lift, to pop it out of notched catch under it.

Hi i have a 2009 ford wagon do i how do i get fuel pump out to fit new one

Exactly which 'Ford Wagon' do you have? Which engine is fitted in it? Some models have an external fuel pump and some have them mounted inside the fuel tank. 'In Tank' models have everything mounted on top of the tank. So if there is no access panel under the rear seat or in the floor of the boot/trunk you will need to drop the fuel tank out from under the car to get access to the pump.

Where can I drill a hole in the trunk of a 97 Buick LeSabre to access the fuel pump without dropping the gas tank

DO NOT DRILL A HOLE! Drop the tank!
Your basically guessing when you drill the hole AND the heat generated by the drill could ignite any fuel that is in the tank!
If there isn't an access panel under the rear seats, dropping the tank is the ONLY safe way to do this. It's a pain in the tail-bone job but its the safest method.

Fitting rear seats

The factory manufactures the floor section with cutouts which wells are welded into the floor for the seats to attach to. They are not sold separately by the dealer or in fact by any American auto/truck dealer in this country. The laws incorperated by our government with the District of Transportation involve causes this hinderment for us owners of vans ban us to install seats in vans made without seats from the factory. To obtain the correct part for seat provision the entire floor section must be purchased which is out of the question. The price would be very high and the floor panel is made only during the model of production then discontinued. The best bet is to find a van in a junk yard hit broadside to cut the section of the seat wells needed in your case.

What is the seat bolt size on ford e350 van

For my 1996 E350 15 pass Club Wagon, the Bench seats mounting brackets to floor hex head(3/4"/19m socket) bolts are: 2" Long(w/ 1 3/4" shaft), bolt size is M12(1.75 threads)(Available at Lowes I believe in specialty drawers).
Also the seat belt attachment torx bolts are size 7/16" (20 threads count).
For me, I've removed all but 2 bench seats and repositioning them side ways. One along the wall behind the driver's seat and the other along the opposite wall towards the back on the passenger side.
This way, it's now an 8 passenger party road trip lounge van comfortable seating.
I had to drop the gas tank(had to anyway to replace the filler hose) and drill new holes and buy new nuts and order mending plates 9-in x 3-1/8-in 20-Gauge Galvanized Nail Plates at Lowes.
I'm going to weld the nuts to the mending plates after I drilled them as well and rivet the mending plates under the van floorso that the seats have a similar factory floor anchor strength for a collision. I found I was able to use still 3 of the original shoulder seat belts with the new bench outboard seating locations.

Hope it helps

97 ford thunderbird fuel pump replacement from the back seat

You can remove the base of the rear seat and see if there is an access panel there or possibly in the trunk...however most cars do not have one. In that case you have 2 choices. First and best us to drop the fuel tank. This should only take about 30 to 49 minutes if you are mechanically inclined. Second you can locate the corresponding location to the fuel pump and cut out your own access panel.....but the problem here is one false m I ve and you could slice up the wiring harness, fuel lines or even damage the tank. If you go this way then only cut three sides of the panel using the uncut side as a hinge. Then you will need to either use a piece of sheet metal or metal strapping to act as a bridge from the panel across the cut. Attach the filler piece to both the access panel and the body with sheet metal screws. You will then need to seal the gap with seam sealer (available at most auto parts stored or paint and body stores).

Have you tried removing the rear seat some cars have an access plate under the rear seat if yours does not then you will have to lower the fuel tank to access the fuel pump. be sure to remove as much fuel before you lower the tank.

My 1998 ford windstar cargo doesn't have holes in the floor, how can I install rear seats?

weld brackets to teh seats and then bolt them through the floor ,if this is a panel van then check with local vehicle inspection station first as you may not be allowed to change the use of this vehicle under local law by fitting seats into a vehicle that only has a certificate of homoglonation for use as panel van

Where is the fuel pump located on 1994 ford e350 club wagon

Hello. They are located in the fuel tanks. I say tanks plural because it's a 350 Club. There is also a pressurized pump on the frame rail just to the inside of the frame, just about under the driver's seat, if it is equipped with dual tanks. It's a rare occasion that one cannot run the van without prior notice of a tank mounted pump going bad. I'd try the fuel interrupter switch located in the passenger's side kick panel before anything else. Push the button top to reset it and then try starting the van. If the vehicle has suffered a jolt, large pot hole, bump etc...

Fuel pump 1997 kia sephia

The back seat should come out easily, and you can look. I have had two cars with fuel pumps gone bad, a camaro and a Honda. Neither had an access panel, and dropping the tank is a major pain as has several lines going to it plus electrical wires. W/ Camaro, also need to remove rear axle first. What I did was look where the fuel lines go to t he top of the tank, and using a drill, drill a series of closely spaced holes directly above the fuel pump. After holes are drilled, can "connect the dots" w/ a sharp cold chisel and hammer, and make your own access panel, and remove pump from inside car. Reinstall panel and seal with silicone or duct tape. Worked great for me.
