Question about 2001 Hyundai Elantra

Fuses I am trying to locate the fuse for the headlamps on a hyundai lantra i can't work out the codes please help.

    hi from uk you do not mention whether you have no h/lights working? or is it just one at fault low or main beams ? so presume the latter is problem? so here is info the fuses for h/lights r/hand + l/hand and the main beam fuse for both light should be inside car behind panel on drivers side approx above the shelf near hood release catch ?? remove panel to see all fuses now on uk hyundai's the two fuses you look for are at bottom of board and are 15 amp each you will find these fuses are either side of a 10 amp fuse ? all this is on assumption that you have checked bulbs? also check on rear of panel you remove there may be an indication on location of each fuse/amperage and purpose ? hope this is of help to you ? wish you a merry xmas and best wishes for 2009 ?

    headlights are not fused they either have a circuit breaker or a built in breaker in the headlight switch, never a fuse.

What year? The h/lamp fuse panel on my 2001 is under the hood beside the air filter. They are large type block fuses. Emissionwiz...most things electrical on a car is fused somewhere...

Headlight fuseable link and relay for 2002 Hyundai elantra location

Can someone please tell me where to locate the headlight fuse relay in a 2004 Hyundai Santa fe? My headlights went out and the fuses are both good but I cannot find the relay to replace it.
Things to check; common wire for ground may be disconnected so take the common wire and run a jumper to the battery.
lights could be bad they wear out too. Substitute
a known good lamp in both sides to see if this fixes problem.
Headlights also go thru the dimmer switch so run headlights to battery with a jumper wire. This bypasses headlamp switch and dimmer.
Consult the owners manual for fuses,relays and their locations. One fuse box is usually inside passenger compartment and another under the hood.

HOW DO I FIND THE FUSE FOR THE RUNNING LIGHTS
Open the hood of your vehicle and disconnect the battery's negative-terminal cable with a socket wrench.
Remove the cover from the fuse block and locate the high-beam headlamp fuse. Most vehicles have two, one for the right headlamp and one for the left headlamp. For the exact location of the fuse, check through your vehicle's user's guide.
Use a fuse puller tool to remove the high-beam headlamp fuse and install a replacement fuse in its place. Reattach the cover to the fuse block.
Reach behind the high-beam headlamp and disconnect its electrical connector by pulling it straight out. Rotate the old bulb counterclockwise and pull it out to remove it.
Install a replacement bulb and reattach the electrical connector to the headlamp. Consult your vehicle's user's guide for the exact type of bulb to use. Close the hood when done.

1997 Hyundai Lantra - Dash lights don't come on with headlights
Check the fuse. Also make sure your dimmer for the dash lights does is not turned all the way down. If all that checks out, your dimmer may be need replaced.

Where is the headlamp fuse on a 2007 hyundai entourage?
there should be a left and right headlamp fuse in the underhood fuse box the underside of the lid has the location of each fuse, hope that helps

Gear box dip stick location- hyundai lantra automatic
try the left side of the engine... gear oils smell are diffent from the engine oil and the viscosity... gear oils are thicker... u wont go wrong on this...

1999 Lantra - which fuse is for the reverse lights
may not have one because it could be hooked up to your ignition,so i would suggest that you check for power on the switch it self,if you got power both sides then remove your light globe and check if any power is there,if so replcae globes,if not check wiring from switch to lights.

Cant get indicators working
there is a gray block fuse under the hood that could control the light
take it out and take it to auto zone and have checked this good be the
easiest fix but it will cost about $25.00 for that fuse!
