You may have the wrong part. Cross-reference the part number with the correct part number, which should be located in your owner's manual.

You can by pass it, but regular bulbs are not plug and play. You also won't find plugs that fit the housing for the lights. Different set ups.

Unfortunately the sensor is going bad in the unit. You should be able to find a sensor on ebay or craigslist for fairy cheap. From what I have seen they are easily replaced.

I cant find the fuses for the headlights

Hi there, Best thing to do is buy a Haynes or Clinton's repair shop manual for your particular vehicle. Then read up on it in the trouble shooting section or the step by step replacement section. You can purchase these at your local Auto Parts store or buy them on line at ebay burdfrenzy

Help with bulb wattage 2004 nissan 350z

The current draw is going to almost double, from 4.5 amps to 8.3,I wouldn't be so worried of the wiring ,it will handle the increase as I would of the your relays as this is where the increased draw is going to have the most affect.Generally all electrical componenets are designed to handle 33% over what they are rated at,they will work but this will shorten the lifespan of your relays by as much as 50%.

14 volts is about right.  Have you had any starting problems?  Are your headlights dim?  Does the gauge move when you turn on the headlights and the blower motor?  I also have a 2004 350z.

It sounds like an low charging system voltage issue, the Bose draws allot of juice, have the charging system tested and the battery, Kragen and many other chain parts stores do this for nothing.
