Question about 2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse
My 2002 mitsubishi ecplise gs service engine light came on. The vehicle is driving fine. I got gas the night before so I double checked to make sure the cap was on tight it is. The light is still on. I have not noticed a MPG decrease. We recently changed the spark plugs. Do you have any suggestions? Should we just disconnect the battery to re-set the light? Does that light mean have a oil change? Or is it the same as "check engine" light?
My check engine light has been on for over a yr and a half now i have done EVERYTHING possible to fix this and spent tons of money on replacing parts that the diagnostic machine told me still nothing has worked! any other suggestions on what i should try next??

If you take your vehicle to a local autozone or advanced auto parts they are able to read the code for free and tell you in rough estimation what may be wrong, base your desicion on what they have to say
