Question about 2002 Buick Century
2002 buick cenrury
I have had the heater core replaced because it was leaking on the passenger side front floor. The other 2 areas are still getting wet, it is not caused by the rain is happening when I drive the car even in dry weather. It gets wetter if I have the defrost or heater on.
It's probably a blocked a/c drain line. The condensation can't drain out because the hose is blocked w/ 'goop', U should be able to locate the drain hose in the passenger area, front seat about where your feet would be, middle of pass area. U can either blow air thru it to clear it, or from under the car, locate the end of the hose and with a small wire, gently run it up the hose to clear obstruction. The carpet padding is like a sponge, so the moisture is probably wicking to the rear area from underneath.
Newer cars run in the a/c mode whenever heat or defrost is on, even though u don't turn on the a/c. Let me know how u make out.
