Look at the door jamb switches for the front doors. located at the ends of the dash near the door opening. make sure the plunger is not broken. the inner door panel pushes in the plunger to turn off the ligt.

Startup hestitation, check engine light 2006 Ion3

Since your "check engine" light is on you can get a free scan at Autozone or Oreillys. They can sell you a part and may have a diagram about where it fits. Just speculating it may be a coolant temperature sensor.

It sounds like you are not getting into the Cold Start mode.

When this happened to mine it ended up being a bad door switch. The alarm, dome/map lights and electric door locks are all connected to the door switches. It cost $65 for diagnosis, parts and labor at Saturn of South Burlington VT

2009 saturn hybrid dome ligh stays on

Forgive me if I seem to be over simplifying, but have you have you tried rotating the knob to left of the steering wheel (below the a/c vent)? If you rotate it all the way clockwise, it 'clicks' and the dome lamp comes on. Rotate counterclockwise and the dome lamp goes off and you adjust the brightness of the interior lights.

Check Engine Light '07 Saturn ION3

well with a check engine light on you really should have it brought somewhere to read the codes stored in your computer it dont make sense to guess at what the code or problem is,since there are several, several codes.it may be a 02 sensor,a evap code,i think a few of the auto parts places have code readers and read for free.

Utomatic door locks

A door-closed switch is failing 'open', I suppose. Most likely the drivers' side one (which gets the most use?), but it could be any. Replace that ******! (Ask for details at the Saturn Parts counter.)
