Question about 2000 Ford Escort
Everything seems to be ok with the dome light assemble itself. The ''button'' switches on the inside of the doors seem to function properly electronically. But the light will not go out when the doors are shut while switch is in the ''door'' position.
The door ajar/courtesy light switch that is mounted to the door latch inside the door is sticking, this is a very common issue with all late model Fords from 90's up.
