Question about 2006 Toyota Corolla

1 Answer

I asked for a help last wk for a problem with my 2006 Toyota corolla. I plugged in a car charger to my outlet and now my sideview mirrors and radio will not work. They told me to look for the secondary fuse box and I simply cannot find one. Please help

Better yet, Harvey, I'll send you a .pdf on Friday that shows you exactly where it is, and what fuse does what, if you want it.

The secondary fuse box is under the dashboard, on the driver side, for a USA car... You have to be under the dash to see it, you need a flashlight, too. It is close to the outer side of the dashboard, more towards the front edge of the dash, lower side. If you were sitting in the car, in the driver seat, without the dash installed, it would be right in front of your left knee...It is a large pale white box, approx 8" x 5" The fuses are at the *** extreme *** left side. Hard to see if you are not looking in the right spot. It also has several wiring plug-type connections on it, plus several relays, front and back. The fuses are very, VERY small. You have spares in the fuse box under the hood.

I just replaced a fuse in a 2006 Corolla just this afternoon for the exact same problem..Cell phone charger shorted out in the outlet.

I am very sure that it is there.

Please look again, and get back to me. I'm online tonight until 10 pm, EST

Go to any auto parts store, like Autozone or Kragen and ask them and they will give the right one. But be ready about the model, year, how many cylinder or size of the engine of your car. You can find all these on your Users manual or your registration. ok

Corolla '04 Radio, Mirrors not working

More then likely this sounds like a fuse(s) problem. If you know to use a test light, you should check all fuses under the dash and the hood. Most fuses are maked either on the holder or the cover. Ask for any other assistance.
