Wiring appears to be ok under the dash. Haven't searched entire circuit from dash to tailight location.

I don't want to take out interior panels unless it's a last resort

Is there anyother component(s) the circuit goes to besides what I have replaced? I don't have a wiring diagram.

    Thanks for your help

Did you check to make sure the wires going to the pedal switch are not cracked or burnt?

did you check with an electrical tester to see if there is power coming out of the switch when you press the break?

Before moving on, make sure there is power coming from the pedal to the lights, if there is none, you can direct wire the switch, by using another peice of wire and running it to one of the Acc slots in the fuse box.

My brake lights don't turn on when i press the brake petal.

assuming fuses are ok and the new bulbs are the correct fitment(there are many different types) check the new pedal switch again.
some are adjustable for length. check when you push pedal down that the switch is NOT still in contact with the pedal. if it is then you may need to adjust it to make it shorter, sometimes just pulling the pedal upwards can be enough to do this.
good luck

1995 chevy brake ligts wont come on everything else works wiring looks good what kind of fuse is behind brake petal or is there one?

You can always check for power into the brake light switch and power out of the brake light switch. If there is no power in than check fuses. It will be obvious if it is blown. If there is power in and no power out replace the switch. If there is power in and power out than its probably the turn signal switch. It could also be the brake light relay but its not very common. Since the brake and turn signal use the same bulb the switch decides if the bulb gets power from the flasher or the brake relay. If you need specific wiring info just ask. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Thank you for using!

What do the relays and fuses look like under the hook of a 96 s 10 blazer. Someone said to check theses and how do you. My brake lights dont work and the 10A fuse under the dash is good and i replaced the...

Did you check or replace the brake light bulbs?
It is more common to have burnt bulbs than a bad brake light switch or blown fuse.
Do you have orange signal lights and red brake lights at the rear?
Then the signal light switch will not affect the brake lights.....but....
If they are all red and you use the same bulbs for brake and signal....the brake light wiring goes through the signal light switch and could be affected there.
First....check for power getting to the brake light switch......and leaving it with a test light.......then go to the rear....pull a light assembly and check for power getting to the power? follow the wiring back to the switch looking for a bad connection.
The fuses and relays under the hood are usually in a black plastic box labeled fuses and or relays.

Reverse lights not working

When you press the brake petal it activates a switch located under your dash. Just follow your brake petal up until you see something that compresses when you apply the brakes. It is possible that the switch is not lined up or needs to be replaced.
