Sometimes there is a bleed bulb/ pump near the injectors on some Diesel engines.this should be easy to see from the engine bay otherwise you will need to keep turning it over to force fuel up the line.
check that the battery is spinning the engine fast enough . A slow starter seldom starts a diesel.. Check for air in the fuel system and bleed any air out . Check that the glo-plugs are working. check that the stop solenoid is operational and allowing the pump to supply fuel. check for water in the fliters / blocked fuel filter.
talk with a diesel pump specialist about alternative aftermarket injectors but I think that you will find that $2,000.00 per injector will be reasonable for 4 cylinder On isuzu diesel the injectors are around $6,000.00 per unit.. The secret is to ensure only ultra clean, good quality diesel fuel is used. The injectors and pump cannot handle any water in the fuel.
check the glow plugs circuit to ensure that the pre-combustion chambers are being suficiently heated. also fuel cetane rating must be high enough for cold weather starting. diesel will gel when cold if the cetane rating is low non winter diesel that is. A good fuel stabilizer could help. hope this helps
the best type of oil for a diesel engine is mobil 1 , and it should be at least 10w40 if not 20w50, I'd call a dealer and ask about the weight. They can also tell you how much oil it will hold, or you can just add one quart at a time until you get it full on the dip stick, I'd say no more that 4-6 quarts total, but I do know that diesel's usually take alittle more that a standard gas engine.
undo one injector and prime the lift pump till diesal comes out by hand if this dont work undo injector turn car over till diesal comes out and car starts do up injector other than that it may well start off a tow
CHANGING THE FILTER ON FOUR DIESEL WILL only HELP IT-- SOUNDS AS IF YOU HAVE A FUEL SUPPLY OR CONTAMINATION PROBLEM both go through the FILTER so When Changing Filter Try to keep as Full As Possible and Pour into a GLASS Jar let it sit for 10-20 mins. Then you can see the Water (IF ANY) on TOP of the fuel, if you Find Water and Your tank is Low Top Off with DIESEL FUEL this Should Solve your Problem Fuel Filter Must Be REPLACED as Contamints can stow away in it, Bio is Good Both Ecologicly and >>CLEAN will Burn Well > FLUSHING with CLEAN DIESEL FUEL is a good Idea., A VALVE ADJUSTMENT if not performed in a long time or many miles, This can Do Wonders for Your Diesel I hope this helps you with your T L C Have a Good Day and if im Worthy RATE me Accordingly.
