1998 GMC JIMMY SLE PASSENGER AIRBAG LIGHT STAYS ON ALL THE TIME HOW DO I RESET IT

If there is a current failure in the airbag system, you can't reset it. The light will stay on for as long as the fault exists. You can plug GM's Tech 2 scan tool in, clear the code, and the light will turn right back on if the fault is still present in the airbag system. The only way to turn the light off (besides putting black tape over it) is to read the diagnostic code, diagnose the problem, and fix it.

When i go down a driveway while truning right, i hear a loud clunk from the right rear side, i also get a sense that something moving along with the clunk. i was thinking springs...98 jimmy sle, 4.3 , 4x4...

For whatever reason, all vehicles of this vintage, tend to have excessive corrosion of the frame and suspension. The first thing that I'd check is the condition of the rear spring shackles. I've seen a number of them simply rust right off the frame. When that happens, the axle to frame can shift when you turn or hit a bump.

Good luck.
