If there aren't srews holding the lens on the outside, open trunk and you should be able to get it from there. you might have to pull the carpet down. if there are srews on the outside, just unsrew them and pop off the lens. good luck

Replace rear brake light bulb 1998 lincoln continental

pop the trunk and right behind where the lights are pull the carpet down and their will be of the following depending on the trim.

You will either see the light sockets themselves that you can twist and pull to change the bulb, or you will see the plastic nuts/screws that you can remove to remove the entire assembly in order to access the bulbs.

If it's your 3rd brake light, the screws to access the housing are located in the upper part of the trunk

Hi, I have a 1995 lincoln continental and it is really really low to the ground. It sounds like the it's rising when I start the car but the rear of the car never rises.

it has an air suspention, and they are known to leak after a couple of years. they are not cheap to replace. this happened in my town car and i just replaced the airbags with springs. sorry

Installed aftermarket hu in 1995 lincoln continental and now the alternator will not charge.

What hu, heads up display? if it is then did you install the special alternator illumination bulb socket (for battery lite) with the resistor on it? if it is not there the alt will not get any excitation signal and will not charge.
