Question about 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee

2003 jeep grandcherokee

Have no problems always maintain but the last 2 weeks when driving for longer periods [example 55-60mph] the truck will hiccup and speedometer will go up and down and sometimes gas gauge will drop also once in a while when starting up will idle for 5 min. then put in reverse to back out of driveway truck will kill ,desperatly need solution ,going fishing thanks gary

It seems that you may have a wiring problem. When you put the car in reverse the engine will twist counterclockwise and could be pulling on a harness.
Start the car and move or jiggle harnesses under the hood and see if the Jeep acts funny. If the Jeep hiccups while moving a harness, you've narrowed down the area where the problem is.

Very likely it's the Lambda sensor on the eshaust playing up. Check connections and get it tested.

Can give up with faulty fuel from some pumps.

Not a tune up problem,
You need to have all U-joints checked out,They will give you the vibrations only while acceleration

I would say don't replace anything until you have the "fault codes" read via the on-board diagnostic system.
